I remember... There was always this odd battle between my ballooning ego from all the local sysops telling me how much they loved my works and ... and the bursting of that bubble when myself against the heroes like Tempus, Icy, Marshal Law, Liquid Image, JeD.
From listening to other scenester stories, guys like these are our ideal: the purest form of the art, something we strive to reach but a pedestal we never see ourselves upon. And that's a lot of what makes me want to continue to draw.
Well, that, and because one Christian Wirth is this crazy scene catalyst. How's he do that??/.!
